The older I get, the more I think that happiness and euphoria are over-rated. Gratitude and mindfulness in the day-to-day moments - even the not-so-glorious moments - can shake us out of the numbness of the daily grind and reveal the raw beauty and depth that is there in pretty much everything. <br /><br />This coming from the chick who stumbles around in a haze most of the time.
